Re: Need advice on winter tire size (16 or 17in)
Good for you
Yes they really do look good...I just gave the mags 2 coats of protector sealant to harvest our rude winter plus I installed a set of wheel lock bolts
that I picked up at the dealer for $77....want to protect my investment,,I thought they came with the car but no, it is an after market option.
Send a picture when you get them

On a different note...I know you said that you got the new winter wheels from audi, do you know if the wheels are oem or replicas? The reason I ask is b/c most reps use a different lug bolt than the oems...reps = cone seat bolt and oem = ball seat. If you have reps and the wheel locks you bought for your winter set are cone seat, then you can't use them when you put your summers back on.
Also a tip: if you're using reps, keep a set of oem bolts in the trunk for use with the spare tire.

Wait, so your oem wheels didn't come with wheel locks?

My new mags from the audi dealer use the same wheel bolts as my summers..the parts man said if I bought somewhere else like tirerack or 1010tires, I would need another set of bolts as you said.
If they are OEM or replicas???could't say///they do have the audi center hub logo...
Hope this answers your inquiry.
