I have bought from both Discount Tire and Tire Rack. Both Professional and much more competitive than anywhere I found in Canada.

If you are looking for Nokian Brand I also found these guys not too far from the Canada/US border. The savings over buying here paid for a weekend away with my wife, diving through the Green & White Mountains to get the tires mounted. Nice mini vacation. Sorry, I don't have a pic of the rims, but they look just like the OE on the base Audi A4.
And for the tires..they were Gaslaved (Sweden) made by Continental, usually promoted by Saab and Volvo dealerships...a real nice lookin winter tire.

Believe it or not?


I bought the Michelin 235/60R18 Latitude X-Ice Xi2. Michilin now have a spre winter sale on a set of four tires with $70.00 off on the set.

The tires were $243.00 each and in stock after rebate. I also bought four aluminum rims guaranteed to fit my Q-5 @ $133.00 each. Yes I could have most likely got a cheaper price in the USA for the tires but I want a warranty with no hassel. I could have gone to the tire discounters here in Canada who also have the same deal on the tires but I would have had to get the price down on the after market rims as they were about $10.00 more.


So believe it or not I bought them all from Canadian Tire Corp. The aluminum rims will be in next week. Tires in stock, of course balancing is extra.

I suppose if I had more time to run all over I may have found something cheaper in tires however I don't have the time or inclination and I do know CTC stands behind what the sell with no hassles. Bought many special order tires from them and have never had an issue with repairs or replacement tires.

Good price for the rims and you'll love the Michelins x-ice. I have a summer set of Michelins Latitudes and they are a great riding tire with good life.
