The Q5 centerbore is 66.6 -these rims have a centerbore of 57.1

This is acceptable?

They won't fit. Centre bore needs to be 66.6 for the Q5.

Hey WarCity you seem to be the one with all the answers so i thought i'd shoot this your way I am trying to decide between 18 inch wheels and 19 inch wheels for the MOntreal winter. I am picking up my S-line (with 20 inch) wheels in a couple of weeks. I like the look of your wheels (especially the anthracite) and was wondering if you feel you could have gotten away with 19 inches while still maintaining riding comfort over potholes etc. Are the width of your mags 8 or 8.5 inches? and do you know if the S-line has bigger brakes or are all Q5's are the same when it comes to what wheels would fit?

$1500 is a great deal for your winter set up. well done. I am thinking of ordering mine from tire-rack- just a bit confused with all the offset measurements. I know the OEM offset for 18 rims is 39 but does that mean anything higher would make the wheels stick out more from the car?

lots of questions i know but would appreciate it if you could get back to me whenever you have the chance. Just want to make sure i don't mess up!

cheers!

Hi All,

I wanted to put 17' on my Q5. The tires I had picked out were 235/60R17 102R Bridgestone Blizzaks. However since I have the sport package the dealership parts dept says that the front brakes are too large for them to fit. Anyone able to help me out with this info?

Sports Package? I think you mean Sline package. Sline isn't a sports package it an appearance package. All Q5s despite trim/engine size have the same front break size. 17 does fit in fact I know folks with Q5 and 17" rims.

I've also confirmed with tirerack.com and the size you're considering will fit perfectly.

x2.

There is only one brake size on all North American Q5 models, trim levels and packages.

Front Brakes
Size / Type
345 mm / Ventilated Disc

Rear Brakes
Size / Type
330 mm / Ventilated Disc

Hello folks,

Proud owner of a Q5 sline. I went to my dealer to inquirer about winter tires and I was only told about some 17 inches tires. I currently have 20 inches tires package. I really need my car to keep the same size of tires. My question to you all is, anyone has bought decent 20 inches @ decent price lately? Share the info please.

If you live in Canada, has anyone of you bought tires in USA? Please share the experience because I have that option as well. I did some search online and was able to compare tires prices, all things equal and in Canada, the price is almost double(taxes, duties included).

We need help here.

Hi Herman,

I live in Montreal and have an S-Line with 20 inch summers and 19 inch winters. I bought my winter tires from tirerack.com had them shipped to a US shipping centre just across the border. Drove out to pick them up, paid the duty and ended up saving a good chunk of change. Definitely worth buying from tirerack.com. If you are in a region where you get a lot of snowfall, i wouldn't recommend sticking with your 20 inchers in the winter.
