Bought a cable & software, would like some help with using & understanding it's capabilities & functions the first time I plug it in.

I have a general idea of these things, but want someone who's actually used it (preferably "alot") to show me what 'not' to do.

* I actually haven't got it yet (Fri/Sat), and the car's getting the alternator fixed as I type this. So I'm not in a rush.

I can teach you how to use the vag-com if you like as well, i worked with the dealership vag 5052 for about 5 years myself.

I work in O&G now, as a production tester, and it's 95% out-of-town work.

Although I'm home right now, I had 2 different jobs cancelled for today and have only been home since midnite Wednesday evening.

So I'll probably get another call today, to go to work tomorrow or maybe even tonite. I've only had 5 days-off since Oct 18, including today...

* Oh, and I don't have a laptop yet either... The middle of Nov I'll be getting mine, but would need to use whoever's helping me untill then...
