timing belt change in vancouver
Just as the topic says, looking for a good place to get the timing belt changed on my 2000 A6 4.2, dealer wants $1800+, seriously thinking about doing it myself if i can't find anywhere cheaper. Any one have experience in greater vancouver?

Try Otto at Esplanade Auto House, 245 E. 1st, North Vancouver, 604-980-7413 . I've been happy with work he did for me on brakes and wheel bearings. I'm sure he would do a good job with a timing belt as well

Cheyne at Blitzkrieg (near Commercial and Hastings) does great work, many here will agree. I had to do the timing belt and water pump on my B5 A4 and I was back on the road for under $1000.
