Car sounds like a Diesel
I took my car for a Oil change at Lube X
full synthetic etc
but the idiot under the car didnt put my skid plate back on properly and the front came down while I was driving home.
Now i live in alberta an my skid plate acted like a shovel an scooped up all the snow an muck off the roads into my engine bay!!
now when I start my car it sounds like a Diesel!
Ive been told it could be my timing belt but that was fine before this happend
Any one else think they know what may be the problem an If Lube X is to blame!?!?
but i reccomend avoiding Lube X in Fort Saskatchewan.
They have no idea what they are doing
Took them twenty minutes to figure out my car was a Audi.

oh man... shitty deal...id freak and ambush the place... make a huge deal tell them that there ****in stupid.. make them look like fools and then leave and not pay a dime... Sorry you had shitty service man. to me it sounds like low oil possibly even the wrong weight.
I mean when ever you go to these places double check what they changed or make sure you see them put it all in. Ive heard at the local Mr.Lube that there realll sketchy and at times they dont add what you expect. Best thing... go over that few k... take the time do it your self or go to a shop you can see do it..
But yeah check your fluids... kinda sounds like low oil or a thickkk oil..

Re: Car sounds like a Diesel
I made a big deal
so now they have bought me a New skid plate an im going to make them pay for Southgate Audi to go over the car
I just got the Audi and I love it
not having it 'sick; because some guy was lazy or just a plain idiot.
Thanks for the advice
ive cheked the levels they are good an I got AMSoil Fully synthetic
unsure of the Weight
they said it was 'recommended' for the Make and Model.
but ill double check it tmorrow when its light out.

Re: Car sounds like a Diesel
THIS HAS MADE ME SO MAD!!!!
It sucks as there is almost nothing I can do
I have to go up against a company or fork out $130hr minimum for Audi to fix her
Biggest mistake I made was going there.
All for a Receipt to start a Log of Maintenance if I ever wanted to sell it...

ha went above and beyond what he should have.. haha id be like well if your workers here would have done it correctly then there would be no problem.. that is what you are a manager is for right? to make sure everyone is working? Clearly you are not doing your job...maybe the newspaper should hear about this.. I mean if thats one car how many other cars has **** like this happened to eh? Ha id put him in his place.. be like want good business? or should i inform the rest of the customers what happened... and how you as a manager don't do your job?? I mean it is freedom of speech right lol.
Hope you got it all worked out let me know what it was.
