Default New to audi, help for starter kit!

hi, i own a cts-v and i'm now the proud owner of a 03 A4 1.8t quattro.

i'll receive my car this week and i can't wait to see what german engineering has to offer.

i bought the a4 mainly for winter, i live in montreal and we have a lot of bad wheater, but i'll also use it on summer, i'm still at school, so the a4 will be cheaper on gas than my V V8 6.0 liter. So i'm looking for a little extra power/sound.

what do i really need to get to make my A4 happy :P?

p.s. my english may have ponctuation problems, english is my second language

thanks!

ECU Upgrade from REVO/APR/GIAC would be the best bang for buck for performance improvement. Search this and other Audi forums for lots of opinions.

If you're buying this car for winter I wouldn't go much further than an ECU upgrade from APR or some other respectable tuning company... how much power do you really need in a Quebec winter? You'll always have your insanely-overpowered CTS-V to fall back on

Throw on some 16" rims and some 205 wide snow tires of your choice and you'll be unstoppable.

For the most fun, in this order:

1.) Studded Winter tires and High-end Summer tires
2.) Rear anti-sway bar
2.) ECU tune
3.) Turbo-back exhaust (take out the resonator if you want it a little meaner)

Also, if you want to spend a little more money for fun in the Summer, I'd put coilovers ahead of the power mods.
