On a recent vacation drive I noticed that when climbing a steep incline and coming to a full stop (where I come from the roads are flat for miles) if one has your foot on the brake the brakes hold for a few seconds upon release and the Q5 will not roll backwards giving one time to accelerate forward. I could see this as handy in an urban setting (not rolling backwards into the folks behind you) and if the Q5 ever came with a manual transmission.
Yes sir, it's a feature. Got to love it. It has to be fairly steep incline though. I've tested this in my underground incline it's about 35 degrees and doesn't work.

Sigh....if only Audi brought the BEAUTIFUL manual gear box they have in Europe over here. God I miss the clutch
