Default 2006 A4 2.0t frustrated

Hey guys I own a 2006 a4 2.0t with 130k. For the last 2 months I have been experiencing a jerking motion while trying to pick up speed between 60-80kh and somewhere between 100-130kh. I have taken it to my local audi dealer 4 times including today. Once i was told that it was the spark plugs and they changed it for me but on the drive home it started again and the 2nd time today they said they switched around the spark plugs and coils. For the first few hours I couldnt feel no jerking as I had in the past but it started again and it seems to be jerking a lot harder now. Also up to a few days ago no engine light came on at all but a few days ago i noticed the engine light on as the car jerked however when I took it to the dealer the engine light had turned off. Also when I tried picking up speed today the engine light flashed and then stayed on. I have asked the dealer if it is turbo line, vacum line, catllatic converter, throttle body, fule filter, tranny and I have been told by the dealer that the probelm with my car is not being caused by any of the ones I have mentioned . I really love this car but the fact that they dont ven know what it is, is making me really upset now. I have spent well over $600 just on diagnostic, and they have been wrong twice now. Has anyone experienced this kind of a problem please help because I dont know what to do anymore.

Wow $600 on diagnostics. If the dealership was wrong can any of your costs be recovered? I certainly hope that someone here has had similar problems and can advise what their experience and fix was.

Please keep us posted!!

Would there not be diagnostic codes you could pull through VCDS, even if the engine light is now off? I've got a cable if you want to check for failures, misfires, etc.

Do you have the quattro with auto tranny, or fwd/cvt?
