Default Audi B5 Dump Pipe

HEy. I have seen someone doing this on their a6 here.
When i told my mechanic i was thinking about doing my downpipe and highflow cat he laughed and told me that its not worth the price.
He told me i am better off buying a remote controlled dump pipe. It does make sense, I dont need the power all the time, most of the time in the winter especially. So i am convinced that i should do that. Its a lot better then test pipe and such as if i get it checked i can get a "track use only" excuse
So i looked around and i cant seem to find one. Any one know where i would be able to get one, he said he got his somewhere in US a while ago for 250 ish cant remember where.
