Need help with Being to hot

I have just got a 1995 A4 with climit control and air con but for some reason all that comes out is very hot air even on LOW can anyone help please. I have also got problems with the centrol looking the car opens but will not lock using remote is this the pump as have been told it could be ? does anyone know what I can do about these problems ? a/c is most likely either a dead compressor, or the coolant needs a recharge (i.e. to be flushed and replaced).

Would that be it cos it comes out VERY hot like its set on hot ?

I had this same issue wit my 98 a4 and it was just a matter of geting the a/c system flushed and adding freon as u probally have none and the freon is what makes the air cold
