Default Lights indicator stays on while my lights are turned off ?

Can anyone help me how to fix my problem ? I have my lights indicator that stays on permanently but my lights are turned off... it never did this to me since I changed my battery today...

They should be on, its your DRL light

Thank you !!! But it was not on before I change the battery... The old battery was 680A and the new one is 700A.. do you think it's related ?

I did read a section in the manual the other day about things you would have to do when changing the battery. I remember something about the windows not opening until you did something. Maybe check the manual and see if it lists anything.

Thank you but I already changed the battery... the green light indicator came on and was stuck there... even when the lights are turned off...

it never did this before til I change the battery... Also... I noticed that my xenon lights doesnt adjust anymore... They suppose to move when I turn on the lights... The lights are working fine, its just they dont move when I start them...

Help...

When you replace the battery the lights need to be re-adapted as well as your remotes for your keys, and your radio might require a security code to be entered.

What do you mean by re-adapted ? Do I need to put a code ? What do I need to do ? Thanks again...

I went to a garage I know... The guy plugged it and for example... I have the airbag lights on... he scanned it... couldnt find the fault in VAG-COM... I did the job with the wires under the seat... and the light stays on with no fault on the screen... this gets my nerves... LOL

Yeah I told you it was the DRL, unless you recode it to not have DRL's then it will stay on.
