Downpayment for A4

I'm thinking about financing a purchase of a new A4. What is a good enough down payment? I'm thinking at least $3000. How much did any of you put down?

There's so many variables; price, term, interest rates, etc. Some people put $0 down, it depends where you want your monthly payment to be at.
