Default audi 2001 a6 fan motor noise

At lowest setting my fans will make squeaking noises, I have removed the glove box and can see the housing where the fan motor is. Does anyone have an exploded view of the fan and its housing

It gets packed with dirt and debris, I came at it from the other side(cabin filter) with an air gun and blew it out, no more noise.

I'm having the exact same problem, sounds like a squeaky bearing on low setting. I'll try the cleaning thing.

peter 1045: i removed the cover exposing the fan, undid the screws holding the fan motor and casing, took wd 40 and sprayed lower and upper bearings .....this solved the noise
note: I did not remove the fan motor out of it's casing, would of been too much of a headache!
