Hi,

I bought a used + very-well maintained Audi A4 1.8L 2001 last September. It is the first car in my life (I am 35 yrs old) and continuously upgrade the model within the group of Audi as I get old. My car is excellent....

Except when the "engine malfunction indicator" blinked in the middle of highway 10 on the way to the Bluemountain ski resort on Saturday. I towed my car to a downtown autoshop and replaced 2 ignition coils and a fuel injector, which cost up to $900.

Now, I will visit this website once a day to learn about how to maintain my car. Any advice is welcomed.

p.s. is there any auto shop in mississauga (square one) that you recommend to me? If possible, I want to go to the shop and check up my car regularly.

Welcom to the forum and welcome to Audi ownership. Coincidentally my son who owns a 2000 S4 was also in the Bluemountain area this past weekend. If you are interested I am planning on starting a Golden Horseshoe (Niagara, Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville) meeting in the spring and you are most welcome to join us.

hey welcome to the site... sucks about your drive on hwy 10. incidentally there is a vw shop on hwy 10 just north of brampton on the west side, which could have probably given you a couple of coils...

Oh, I should have researched before about where the audi/vw shops are located. The only two places that I know are "audi of mississauga" and "queensway audi."
Where could I find a list of the dealer locations? (But, they may not open on weekend...!)
