Default MTM Supercharger

Exploring the potential upgrades to enhance the performance of my RS4. Have looked at the variety of exhaust options and I like the Milltek as my personal preference and when my warrenty runs its course I'll be looking to have the speed limiter removed. Last night while surfing I stubbled accross the MTM supercharger on an RS4. Nice 535 hp. They state its about 80 hours of upgrades that include improved clutch, limiter and chip enhancment and exhaust upgrades and most important the supercharger. Not really fussy about the "whine" sound it makes though. I think it would wear on you after a while. Do like the performance though. 0-100 kph in 3.9 sec and top speed of 320 kph. I'm sure it comes at a hefty price though. My quote to have the exhaust upgraded is 3k!!

Anyone have any experiance or thoguhts in this regard, I like to hear them. Thanks.

Come out to the Club its this Thursday we got a guy with the RS4 and a Miltek exhaust. Also the limiter can be easily removed so your car runs 320km/h as well without dishing out that amount of money.

I've got a non-valved resonated Milltek and I receive comments almost weekly on how good the car sounds ... even a couple of ladies at the office gave unsolicited comments

just check out the APR supercharger. It's probably as strong as the MTM (or better) and is from this continent. MTM RS4 checks in at around $50,000 or so. (not kidding)

APR RS4 supercharger will be expensive, but I reckon about half that MTM cost. Also, there are a few APR approved shops around to do it.

They're testing it, and they're solidly over 400 wheel horsepower. RS4 stock in PERFECT condition makes about 320whp. In reality most of your RS4s make less than this thanks to the carbon demon. 400+ to the wheels is a solid 500+ horsepower at the crank. APR is known to be conservative, so this tune won't be designed to blow your cars up.
