Looking for advice on 03 or 05 purchase

I too have been a die heard (really die hard) 6 speed manual driver. But I have driven the DSG and love it! I still have questions about long-term durability since the Audi manuals are totally bullet-proof, and the DSG takes extra maintenance. But for driving, the DSG is fab. The other down-side is that my wife won't drive my manual TT, when (if) I get a DSG she'll be all over it!

As for durability on the DSG transmission, Audi recently increased the warranty on 2007-2010 vehicles on the road to 10 years/160000 km. To me that says that Audi is solidly standing behind the transmission. Seeing powerful new cars like the RS5 with 450HP/325TQ being introduced "DSG only" (with no manual option) also shows their commitment to it.

Tony, does APR have a kit for the S4/S5 v6 supercharged? cant find any info on it??? one would think a ECU flash and a pully on the supercharger would do it...
