APR Stage 1+ Quote... Good deal?

Hi Guys and Girls, I recently got a quote for the APR Stage 1+ ECU from a shop in Vancouver. I also had them price out an exhaust system as well. Here is the quote: APR Stage 1+ programming (stock & 91 octane) $695.00 APR Stage 1+ fuel injectors $595.00 Stratmosphere Diverter Valve $150.00 Labor $125.00 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sub-total $1565.00 PST $109.55 GST $78.25 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Total $1752.80 APR B6 1.8t cat. back exhaust (stealth) $1270.00 (quietest) Labor $225.00 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Sub-total $1495.00 PST $104.65 GST $74.75 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Total $1674.40 Here are my questions: 1) Fair prices or not? 2) Does anyone have experience with the Stratmosphere Diverter Valve? I don't want to have much extra maintenance if possible (eg lubing the DV) 3) Has anyone heard this exhaust system? How does it sound? 4) Can I just buy the TT injectors myself and save some $$? APR has 2 sales per year, one around Christmas and the other in the summer, I would wait till then.

How much of a discount could I expect from this sale?

It is an all day trip (including a return trip on an 1.5 hour ferry) to get the work done so if it a big savings I will wait, but if it is only a few bucks I'll just get the work done sooner.

They usually load the ECU with everything if you purchase 2 programs, so you get everything. And Exhaust I have seen with at least $200 off. But you can also call them and ask, anyone else on here remember?

Can I buy and install the larger injectors myself and save any money or is that a fair price?

I have seen used injectors go for $200-300 or you can get a brand new set for about $400 yourself.

for the chipping, i have seen them go for as low as 450ish so its quite a bit of saving.
