Timing Belt Change in Calgary

Hi there....fairly new to the forum.. can anyone recommend a place in Calgary and what the $$ is for a timing belt change on a 2004 A4 AVant 3.0..has 104,000km on it . Thanks in advance for your replies.

I was referred to Tunedub after having no luck with a different place, and so far they are great, I would highly recommend. I need a new belt on my Audi as well and will probably take it to TuneDub. They have great prices, do a great job, and I appreciated the detailed documentation on work done!

Calgary Autoworks, they have the right tools for your car.

The AVK 3.0L motor needs very specail cam locking tools that are used to keep the floating hydraulic cam tensioner sprokets locked when replaceing the belt. The tools are $1,100 alone.

To use those specail tools you will need to remove the valve covers, so of course you should replace the valve cover gaskets.

Another good idea when doing the timing belt/water pump service on this engine is to replace the accessory belt tensioner, it's usually comprimised by milage as well as removing it for the timing belt service.

Calgary Autoworks charge $900 for the A4 1.8T timing belt service, I would get a quote from the for the V6.
