i've bought one of those frameless rain-x wipers at canadian tire. My wiper arm has a hook at the end, so i was able to isntall it with ease.

BUT, i noticed that, I now have a 3" blind spot(if its snowing) on the driver side windshield, by the 'A' pillar.

I found the same thing with mine.

It is caused by too much or too little arm pressure on the blade.

Adjusting the blade pressure usually gets rid of it.

Mine left a small (1") dead spot, so I had to free the swivel at the end of the sweep arm.

If your sweep arm is the hook end type, you can very slightly bend the hook arm to slightly increase blade pressure on the windshield.

Make sure the blade is free to flex in the hook.

It could also be a fatigued tension spring at the base of the wiper arm.

It is trial and error on the tension, but experiment with the bending.

In my humble opinion, no difference.

The $27 blade must have a huge mark up!

Once again the Princess Auto ones are exactly the same as my previous OEM's!
