Changing Dome/Map lights to LEDs

Hi there, Has anyone changed out the interior lights to LEDs? I tried to do so, but I was having difficulty with the Dome/Map lights...I saw the torque screw, took that off, then was able to slide the whole thing off, but was wondering if that was the proper way...I couldn't access the map lights and when I tried to replace the dome, it kept on falling, and took me forever to grab it again...lol...so now I'm driving with no dome lights...haha... If anyone can provide me with some pics/tips, that would be great!!! Much Appreciated!!!
