what to upgrade in TT 02 180 hp?!

i have a 02 black audi tt, base hp is 180 hp i recently got a borla cat back exhaust with double exhaust. im getting the cold air intake by F&n#57a6019 tommorrow. i want to get my car's hp up to 250hp. wt else should i upgrade/change before getting the chip? im planning to get the apr chip since every1 says its good. can any1 give me advice on what to change and anything i shoud be considering. itz my 1st car so i dont know anything basically. thax a lot!

do the down pipe for extra HP, and when chipping you probably need to change your DV, get something that doesn't go into atmosphere. That will kill your engine!

Another thing i recomend is boost controller. with that much HP for a ligher car, that might be a smart thing to do, especially when weather is bad.

how much extra HP would i get for the down pipe, and the price for it? i asked my mechanic and he said i dun need to change my DV. its so confusing, thx

the gain is about 15 so its not that much, but if you want to do a full exaust later its a very good thing to have, your ride can sound awsome...if you wanna go that way. When chipping, it increases the psi turbo gives, and the stock DV most of the time isnt able to handle it, so you can replace it, keep your stock for now and get something nice for the spring.

thx so much!! but i already hv a borla exhaust, so can i just put the down pipe in front?
apart from that is there anything else to upgrade for my car? im planning to get rims to after the winter

Not too sure, i didnt really look into it myself. Might need too. Personally i suggest doing entire exhaust system at once, just my 0.002$ on that.
Mufler is a different story though

I recommend you do the brakes! I find it more important then HP. Its a really good idea,

Get ceramic pads, they are an absolute must! Rotors, if you want get them later, after the winter. Or when your wear outs, but pads are a must!
I did mine for 300 installed.
EBC Red are great british street/race pads, i love them.

Personally, headlight are a good mod, if you dont like yours....tahts like 2 extra Hp and 30% more awsome.

I dont really know anything else that would be good for you before the chipping. The rest of the parts such as clutch and what not do it when the old one dies. Do those kind of mods when need to.

EDIT: BTW make sure your CA intake is safe not to suck in water, pretty easy around these times of year.
