Moisture in the headlights

Hi everyone, Just bought an '05 A4 for my wife..great car. She sure likes it. However we just had a good rain and it looks like there is lots of moisture inside the headlights. Well...on the inside of the plastic..not the light itself. There is lots of moisture on BOTH headlights. The first thing I did was to check them out for any cracks/holes/chips but I couldn't find anything. It has been dry (but cold) for a few days now but the moisture is still there. Not only does it look crappy...but it really interferes with the headlight intensity... Any ideas?

Time to pull the headlights and check the seals. If both are doing it, maybe the car has been in a front-end collision, or a previous owner has been fiddling with them??? If it's the front seal - where the lens is glued to the headlight body, you can heat them up in the oven to soften the seals then try to get a good reseal while the adhesive is still soft. Google will turn up a bunch of info. on this.

not sure, but i think audi head lights are vented and you will get some moisture inside/steam/fog but should go away after the light heats it up.

If that's the case the vent on both lights are plugged...the moisture is still there!

They aren't vented - there's never supposed to be moisture in any headlights. It's probably not going to go away on its own for a while, if ever.
