iPod :: Dennison/Dice/USA Spec????

Help!!!!! So what is the difference between these units? Essentially they all do the same thing - play your iPod, albeit in limited fashion when it comes to song titles - but they all allow for song control/fwd/back/shuffle.....etc. I have been wanting to get my iPod hooked up in my new 05 allroad, but after all the searching and looking I cant' see what the real diff is for that model year with the stock Bose Sympany II deck. Also, the only unit readily available where I have been looking is the USASpec (for ~$280 installed). So what do I do? Do help a noob out Any info/feeds/suggestions/comments are welcome - wouldn't want to get something then realize that I had a better option.

Im getting the Blitzsafe and buying a Ebay iphone cradle for $15...thats the cheapest way right now for a ipod interface..the FM and cassette options are crap.

Just got the NEW Denison GW16AC1 Gateway 100. The most recent model GW100 has been updated to include DIS display on most Audi/VW models. The iPod information is neatly displayed between the tach and speedo and controlled by either the steering wheel, head unit or the iPod itself if you so choose.

I installed one on my 09 TTS and a buddy's 07 A4 Avant in less than 10 minutes each (with little to no car audio install experience.) We both have the RNS-E (NAV) head unit, but the Gateway 100 is available for all Audi head units.

AutoMobility Distribution is the Canadian distributor for Denison. You should be able to look up a local dealer from their website or give them a call.

Another option is Enfig Car Stereo out of the US. The sell direct and have produced a heap of great review and install videos their Enfig YouTube channel:

Same here. Just bought the blitzsafe and it woks great. I wanted to control the iPhone from the touch screen. So it's a perfect for for me.

Though I believe they do have adapters that will allow unit and steering wheel controls for a few more bucks.
