The stoneguard has been on my car for the past year. It has protected it, Yes. Does it look good, NO. No matter how much cleaning or waxing I do, it still looks very dirty. Because I have a white car, I think that has a lot to do with it.
I am going to keep it on for a year or two more then I will remove it.

I Had the Nano Fusion Put on my car, you can hardly see it, looks great. What material did you have put on?

Nano fusion comes with a lifetime warranty, they said just to call if there was any issues and they would look at it, if i was not satisfied they would replace it under warranty for me.

Where did you get it done?

This is because the paint was not properly prepped before it was applied.

Before applying any sort of clear bra it is IMPERATIVE to make sure the surface being applied to is flawless. By flawless I mean 0 scratches, swirls, paint defects, and other contaminants embedded into the surface. Essentially a clear bra is a transparent layer of protection that goes on top of the surface, if the surface is not clean and properly prepped then it will never be.

Professional car detailers take paint readings and level the clearcoat for optimal clarity and remove all paint defects like marring, deep scratches, and holograms and other defects left from dealerships and factory. For you, the owner, this means you will barely be able to tell that the clear bra is on there.

Also note that the clearbra can also be mildly repaired with a Dual Action (DA) polisher or using a rotary at low speeds. You just have to be careful around the edges.

Hope that helps,

Mine has the 3M film on the front hood, right/left front bumper, back of side mirrors and door lips.
You can't tell

Will it really go yellow though as one guy said? That's what I'm afraid of..

I bought a used Q5 with 3M on it and it is peeling in several places at the bottom on the hood and is dirty where it lifted up. Was this more likely a result of it not being put on properly or that it wasn't properly cared for after it was put on? And what should I do no to care for it aside form making sure it is waxed after every wash.

To the poster above my 3M has a slightly yellowish tint to it on my white Q5.

If you can get it at a great price, I'd say go with it!

I have this on my 2006 A4. Came with the car when I bought it but it looks a few years old and is starting to yellow. Anyone try a plastic cleaner on it to see if you can get rid of the yellow or should I just replace it and call it a day?

I just did the 3M paint protection to my F150. Came out amazing, and it came with a 7 year warranty. Hasn't been on long enough to see what it's going to do, but you can't even tell it's there.
