Soon to be Q5 Owner
Hi everyone,
I have been reading a bunch of Q5-related post as a guest in hopes of getting a Q5, and I am just finalizing the deal as I am writing. I will be getting a 2010 Premium Plus S-Line Garnet Red. Anything I should check out before taking ownership?

regarding included accessories (there's a thread already posted), but basically make sure you get:
confirmation that your 2010 VIN was not on the list for water pump recall issues (apparently Audi dealerships have a list)
removable roof rack (2 bars)
mesh cargo liner
iPod adaptor, if opted for the NAV package
removable cargo/tray thing at shoulder level to rear seats
spare tire in hidden cargo floor
Q5 basic car tools and air compressor
manual
I'm not sure about details involving passing on the warranty or Audicare.
Oh, and load some favourite tunes on an SD card so you can blast it as you drive off the lot. but do look both ways as you exit the lot so that in your excitement you don't end up needing to head to a service department.

Thanks LMcQueen and AK-Q5. Mine is coming in from Boston. The only thing is that we haven't coming into an agreement on the shipping. I wanted to drive it back but I have been so busy with work that I can't get the time off!

Okay, so I am not getting the 2010 Garnet Red Q5... but... just put a deposit down on a 2011 Black on Black 3.2 Prestige. I hope to get it in a few days. This is what I am mostly looking forward to:
