We ordered ours on July 20th. At that time the sales person told us to expect mid october. when I called in the second week of september I was told not to expect it before mid november.

Sigh, can't wait until that mid October phone call to see what they say!

Why is Audi ' Limiting ' the supply of Q5's ? I think I may have the answer..

I once read a book called " 48 Laws of Power " by Robert Greene, and Law # 16 states:

" Use absence to increase respect and honor. Too much circulation makes the price go down: The more you are seen and heard from, the more common you appear. If you are already established in a group, temporary withdrawal from it will make you more talked about, even more admired. You must learn when to leave. Create value through scarcity. "

My opinion, I think the Q5 is a winner and sells itself, despite the limited supply factor. However, when adding scarcity into the equation, -drives consumers crazy.
