Just picked up my Q5 2.0T on Sat. I have the nav pkg but it seems that traffic is not part of the free 3mo trial? Is this something that only comes when you subscribe via the US? Anyone else experiencing this with the current 3mo trial?

Ordered it end of June - was supposed to be delivered on Oct 18th but it arrived early on Sept 25th. Was very impressed.... Also changed my order(added options) twice in July and was still able to get the Q5 early.
Really want to get the traffic working as the DVP is driving me nuts these days... May try and call and see if I can add it while the radio is still on trial...

Read my very first post for details; when you call Sirius US, they disconnect your free subscription, re add a new one including traffic. You cannot add traffic to your existing free Canadian subscription. PM me for details.

Wow Jimmay,
You are really lucky. We ordered our Q5 in late July and at last check were told that its now expected in mid november, when we were first told end of October.
I hope we get it earlier than expected but am not holding my breath.

My 3mo subscription is about to expire. I called Sirius US and tried to activate my subscription with traffic. Spent 30min on the phone with the guy and after three "talks" with his supervisor - he said they could only activate my ESN# for radio and not traffic b/c i was a Canadian customer. Not sure if anyone else has managed to successfully active a US account on a CDN purchased vehicle lately? Sounds like they may have closed the loophole. When i spoke to Sirius Canada about their offering - they guy said that they would have a full traffic service my March 2011. So i guess my options are to wait - unless someone else has had recent success in subscribing and not managing to confuse the US Sirius call centre?

Hey Jimmay: Aside from me I don't think anyone is getting their traffic/radio from the US. I did it last year using a US address. I did however gave them a Canadian VISA. It's working perfectly. I guess in March I will cancel the US subscription and bring it to Canada. I think best thing to do in your case is to wait until march. Mean while you can at least get the radio subscription through Sirius Canada and just add traffic in March when they offer it.
