Pano roof Tint?

Pano roof Tint?
Anyone feel the need to tint the Pano roof on their Q5? I know that a lot of people do in the hotter southern climates for obvious reasons but is there a need for T.O. sunshine i.e. does the a/c suffciiently handle the job? 2012 on order with cinnamon interior. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply and good to put this concern to rest. I'd read several comments that they didn't think the a/c was up to the job, but then again I don't live in California!

Re: Pano roof Tint?
We get the odd hot day here with humidity over 40C (kindda like today) with the sun roof closed (with the crack open so air can circulate) and the sun shade closed you'll be okay.
If you park outside for a long time consider tinting the front windows and get a windshield visor to put in the front while the car is parked. All this will keep the cabin fairly cool. When you crank up the AC (front and rear) with in a few minutes you'll notice the cabin getting very comfortable.

Re: Pano roof Tint?
I've got HuperOptik on my S4 and it does a great job of keeping out the heat, so was thinking of doing that on the front windows of the Q5 as long as I can get a pretty good match with the factory tint on the rest of the car. I'll do the roof if/when it is a problem for my wife. Gotta keep 'em happy!
