MBronskill - you want me to walk around with oil to put in a luxury SUV every month, ridiculous. If that was the case, I could have bought a cheaper car which would have come with lower expectations.

Hi, I just register to this forum, which is great.

I bought an audi Q5 2011, TFSI from a non Audi delaer, apparently
an offlease car by the left over papers in the car.

The car has 114.000 Km. I drove about 1000Km and the MMI
shows ~60%. I start adding oil in quentities of 200ml (plastic glass),
and I end up adding 600ml, untill MMI shows 100%.
Almost 1/7 quart (0.6L) / 1000 Km.

On long term means that by the next oil change at 130.000 I will put
in the engine almost 7..8 Liters ($100), almost twice the oil capacity.

Does Audi Canda fixes on their expence the oil problem if the car went off warranty.
If yes, how should I approach Audi ?

By the book this car went off warranty at 80.000K.
