There is no S-Line embossing on them. But they're fantastic seats -- far superior to the base seats.

No, they're not like those seats. But they're a big step up from the base seat, and quite comfortable. I'm happy.

I haven't yet ordered my 2013 Q5 (still wanting to test drive the 3.0TSFI), and this topic creates a couple of questions for owners who may know ...

(1) The "oak" wood inlays look very nice in these interior photos, but are $250 more expensive than the "fine grain ash". Can anyone comment regarding the latter?

(2) This topic also mentions the sport seats available with the S-Line pkg. Is anyone familiar with the function difference in lumbar support these seats offer over what comes with the Premium pkg?

I think the oak takes away from the sportiness of the car and give it more of luxury look. If the interior is brown the oak looks nice but with any other interior colour personally I prefer the fine grain ash.

If you go to the dealer and look at a 2013 S5 Cab with ventilated seats, those are the same sports seats the Q5 Sline uses (minus the neck ventilation).

I was lucky to find a 2013 Q5 here in St. John's Newfoundland, let alone an S5

EDIT: BTW ... I'm getting to that age where lumbar support is required, especially for travelling cross continent. I hope to finally get out of my Q5 feeling better than getting off Air Canada
