Ouch, sorry to hear about your car! I have not bought yet, I want to but I am hesitating because of the fact there is only one dealer here in Ottawa. They have quoted me list price on everything so far and I feel I have very little leverage.
Pricing is not the only concern, my main concern is that if I do have a problem with the car, and am not happy with their service, what do I do? Although Montreal isn't too far away and neither is Kingston

Is there a dealer in Kingston? Just looking on the web it seemed like there's only a Volkswagen dealer.
Have you thought about going for a GLK or an X3?

My car was "severely damaged" during shipping 
So they're going to bump me up in the queue and build a new one. I'm now looking at an end of April for delivery. My experience with Mark Motors has been mostly disappointing. I was really looking forward to buying a luxury car and the experience so far has been poor. I always have to call back to find out information like on winter tire pricing, or just when it's supposed to come in.
How was your experience?

Gallant........may I suggest the Tirerack for winter tires. I got wheels and Pirelli Scorpions for our 2010 and they were delivered mounted and balanced to my front door step in 6 days. Now heres the kicker........wheels and same tires from an Audi dealer here in Calgary 3200.00 CDN. same from the tires rack including GST shipping and brokerage fees (which is included in the quote when you order) 1410.00 USD. Add exchange which is not much at today's rates and you have tires. In fact when I went to our dealership (we have two Audi dealerships here in Calgary) and asked if they would price match the parts guys politely declined and was aware of the great deals the Tirerack gives. I ordered my Q5 mid March and my rep told me today it's in transit and will be here end of month! Dang wasn't expecting it so quick originally I was told end of June. Seems kind of too quick IMHO. Can they even build a Q5 and have it shipped here from Germany in 6 weeks? My order was Lava Pearl, Grey Int w/ B&O.
