Hey all! Got my new 2012 Q5 a week ago and have all ready started to mod it lol. Got 20% tint from the dealer to match the privacy glass, swapped the interior bulbs to white LEDS as well as the license plate lights, and i also got rid of the yellowish fogs and got xenonmatch bulbs in there. Dont have many pics yet but i do have one from the day i picked it up to hold ya'll over haha. Ill definitely get more pics as soon as i get a nice day to go out and shoot.

My new 2012 Audi Q5 next to my 2009 Infiniti G37S that i traded in for it.


This is some plasti-dip idea that im playing around with, the caps are still drying so i did not have time to mount them back on the car yet, but i will have pics up of how they look on the Q as soon as i can. Let me know what you guys think.

Yes i have the rear view camera prep, but im still awaiting the chip from Japan.

I got the LEDS from Tunerdomes.com, The whole inteior set and license plate LEDS ran me about $150 with a discount code i found online. Install was very simple on all the bulbs, the covers snap off really easily, just take your time and go slow and everything will be good. The quality of the LEDS from Tunerdomes.com are very good, i have experience with many different LEDS over the years because i do this mod to all my cars and Tunerdomes.com is top notch, for sure.

Great ! I get mine if fall so will wait and see what I think of stock lights. Is the licence plate light too bright or is it ok? If you take any pics of them installed please put them up, thx. I assume you aren't running into any issues with error messages etc..does swapping out lights affect warranty in any way?

In my opinion, the License Plate LEDS are very bright but I like them that way, i'll take a pic of them soon and post it up. Also there is no problem with error codes, they have been on the car for a week now. And i don't believe they void warranty but do not quote me on that. Anyone know about the warranty thing?
