Dual-clutch tranny for Q5?
Okay, I had no idea this vehicle was equipped so differently in every country. My experience was that at least in Canada and the US cars were similar. There is a dual-clutch trans available in the European Q5 but although there are completely different option packages in the US, North American Q5's all use either the 8spd tiptronic or 6spd tiptronic, right? No fancy dual clutch auto (DSG or S-Tronic) in spite of the fact Audi uses S-Tronic paddle shifters on some models? I drove an A3 with S-Tronic and it was a very nice manu-matic. I had no idea a transmission should shift that fast.

S-tronic (DSG-VW group) is a sports performance automatic gearboxes.
This is the first automatic transmission which has better acceleration than manual gearboxes.
S-tronic is available in Europe, Asia, Australia, South America
