Ya, I think we get your point. Is there even an ABT rep here in Canada ?

spijun, the ABT contact listed through your link for Canada is in Miami. Nice.

I would be interested in an ECU flash if I could get a straight answer on it. I have not heard of anyone flashing their Q5 yet so have heard no direct or competitive commentary.

Stasis has a warranty relationship with Audi already—whatever that relationship actually is—so I am leaning that way. I haven't looked at the paper detail on this warranty, but I sure will before I do anything about this. Among other things I have heard talk about the Stasis tune being retooled APR s/w...even that Stasis sends your ECU to APR to DO the Stasis tune. Then, that Stasis used to do this but doesn't any more as they completed their own s/w tune. Who knows. The Stasis tune requires, at least, that you send your ECU to their shop in West Virginia to have the work done with a 3 - 5 day turnaround (dubious) during which your vehicle is (obviously) dead.

Many stories.

Yup I did read it and as Cprg has mentionned, the contact is a mere 25 hour drive from eastern Canada (much longer from western Canada). BTW, although United States is part of North American, it is a completely different country separate from Canada (ie: different government, different money, different laws ...).

Since I had time, I called GGI Tuning to ask what the deal was and obtained the following info:

1) Pfaff Tuning (T.O.) is the CDN rep.
2) ABT ECU tuning is NOT availble in North America primarily due to the US litiguous laws
3) The only light weight wheels available are for the R8 and - available only in sets of 4 (two 19 x 9's and two 19 x 11's)
