2011 Q5 deal

Re: 2011 Q5 deal
I keep hearing this over and over again, guys that ordered a Q5 thinking they have the best deal possible, only to find out that there was some "made up" mistake. At that point, after waiting for over three monts, you give in a pay it. And these dealers keep doing this because they know that the car will sell anyway. It's a case of "take it or leave it".
I've been selling Audis for nearly 9 years, allways offering a great price and service. Do your research guys, find reputable dealers and salespeople, price is not always the most important part of buying a new car.
My $0.02.

3.75% sounds good. What is the actual amount in $ you are getting discount.
Discount could be calculated in different ways... if you can post the details then we can compare. Also when do you think you will get your Q5?

Well I got $1905 off. The car came to 50,800 before tax. 2.0T Premium Plus+Nav+Pano Roof. Is it a good deal? He said he will throw in the Weather Mats as well. The car will be ready to be picked up latest March 30.

Re: 2011 Q5 deal
i paid $864 more than you did but getting Prem. +, Nav, Pan Rooof, B&O sound & S-Line. Only thing is that i made the in middle of November and i wont get the car until late May early June.
I have been told by few dealerships they don’t give much discount and many of you would agree with that. i think you did get good deal as you will be getting your car late march . Where did you purchase yours from? and what color did you pick?

Im sorry, $50800 was before the 1905 discount. So its actually $48,895 before tax. So you paid $51,664 for yours? Tat is around 5% off!

Re: 2011 Q5 deal
yeah - I should have read some of the other posts.
thanks. I can't believe how 'tight' audi is on this - I guess that's what you get for a car in high demand. compared to my fully loaded Nissan Titan LE i was able to negotiate over 30% off the MSRP.

Are you in the GTA area? How much % were you able to get off? With such small discount I expect my sales to throw me in at least the winter mats because I know Audi's don't come with them standard.
