If not, then we may need to wait longer.
Sorry to bring somewhat sad news. On the good note, our cars are on canadian soil now!
Thanks for the info Tomashek!! hopefully i'll be getting a call from the dealer tomorrow. The business manager promised that the car would be put on a truck and driven from halifax, not railed since it is behind schedule. 2 days to get here via truck, so yeah sometime late next week if i am lucky! hopefully the same for you.

Hopefully there will be a get together in december for all these new babies being delivered!

Very hard to get anything else. I had shopped around.

I think you got a pretty decent deal.

Teak and Brown should be a nice combo. I personally prefer the beige interior, but it's a matter of personal taste.

I don't think adaptive Cruise Control is an option in Canada...unfortunately!!

I'll post pics of mine as soon as I get it...Should be any day now (placed order mid-august).
Wow, i think that is an awesome deal. i didn't think about the cargo liner until after we had done our deal. I was pretty happy with our deal, and didn't think we could do much better for the vehicle we bought. But you have proved me wrong! heheh

Gotta have a sunroof, you think that would be standard on the Premium Plus. Surprised they didn't include AudiCare, it's only $750, and you did spend $62,000!

From what I can tell you paid MSRP, hope you enjoy it...
That deal sounds like about 2000 off the msrp, which is pretty good in toronto area, especially since there are literally no 2.0T vehicles on any dealer lots. as for the sline and nav, those options make a big difference if you actually buy them from what i understand and have experienced. With the Nav you get the reverse camera and parking sensors, along with an upgraded screen and colour driver information system. In addition, with the NAV option, you actually end up getting a more advanced MMI system and upgraded options on the stereo.

The Sline package is about appearance, and every vehicle i have seen with the Sline looks awesome. the mesh grille in front and rear valence look awesome, not to mention the paddle shifter, upgraded steering wheel and shifter. and 20" wheels. actually seems like a pretty good value if you like the look of those options. I think trying to make those changes aftermarket would cost far more than $2600.

But to each his own, if you have the means its worth the price.

Hey Guys,

If the sline option is chosen do you still get the original 18" wheels? Might be wishful thinking on my part.

I used the Audi online configurator, and with selected options the price came out to $55,250 + $750 (Audi Care). Add on Freight and PDI ($2000 ?) and admin.
$58,000 X HST (Ontario) = $65,540
$65,540 - 62,192 = $3348

Maybe you did O.K. on the deal... It's really too bad Audi has limited inventory here in Canada. Even dealers are complaining that they don't have enough stock to sell. Personally, I would have a hard time paying full price, even the lease rates (5.9%) are high. Supply and demand... Again I hope you enjoy it, it is a nice vehicle. I'm taking my family on a ski trip to B.C. instead.

Lease rates and finance rates are very high I find. And you're right, it's very hard to accept paying (almost) full price. Unfortunately, it's the market that dictates the terms.

I ended up putting my Q5 on my line of credit at 3.5%. It beats Audi conditions and it's more flexible for repayment options (interest payments only if that's what I want and no penalty for early repayment).

CanuckSki thank you. Yes it's hard getting or negotiating the deals due high demands of Q5

I just got confirmation that mine is in fact railed. I'm estimating next Thursday pickup - we'll see.
