2010 q7 tdi
Hello everyone. New member here - just want to say hi.
We went SUV shopping last weekend thinking that we would end up buying the X5 but after seeing the Q7 and test driving it, we decided to buy the Q7 instead.
The vehicle is built and should be on its way (expected delivery date = Jan. 3, 2010). It's a 2010 Q7 3.0 Premium TDI with Navigation package, Technology package, Audio package, S Line Sport package, Panoramic Sunroof, 3rd row seating, and towing package. Color is Teak Brown Metallic. Here's my question: are the bluetooth and parking system (rear view camera and parking assist) included in any of these packages? We were so excited about the vehicle purchase that we forgot to ask the dealer what were in those packages.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers

Re: 2010 q7 tdi
Congrats....a little late...but I just joined the site.
I purchased my 2010 Q7 TDI end of November and it should be here by mid-February. Actually the factory order wasn't processed until Dec. 4 so I'm hoping it gets built in Dec. before the factory shuts down for the holidays. Also the new Q7 plant in Russia starts production in January and I'd rather have the experienced workers in Bratislava, Slovakia build it rather than the newbies in vodka land.
Ordered it loaded minus the towing pkg, rear seat air bags and adaptive air suspension. I wished I could have shelled out for the air ride but $14K in upgrades was enough my pocket book could handle. Next time. The paint is Mugello Blue Pearl and my wife and I loved seeing the showroom car with this colour that we had to have it. I already have a deep grey car and I'm replacing the Q7 with another nice grey, so we're greyed out and wanted a splash of colour. Just it'll be now tough to keep our baby clean.
So excited to move into a high end luxury SUV.
It came down to the Q7, X5 and Caddy SRX. The X5 was just way too overpriced for a smaller SUV and the dash was not exciting. Only the Navigator has worse dials than the X5 IMHO. The SRX was neck in neck, but I needed a 3rd row and the cachet of owning an Audi helped in the decision. The Caddy SRX ranks up there with anything you throw at it, but it was time to buy German. Yah!
Long story on the Audi Supplier program, but I thought I had it but then it was withdrawn so I had to renegotiate the deal and the dealer held up a pretty good deal where I only had to pay about $1300 more and I got to keep Audi Care. Again, long story for another thread but at least I'm still getting the Q7 TDI!
Can't wait!!!
Congrats again.

Re: 2010 q7 tdi
BT is standard and, rear camera is part of the tech package. This is how it is for the Q5 I assume the Q7 would be the same.
I love the Q7, AMAZING car but it'll soon be redesigned.

The 2010 is considered a mid-cycle update so why would it be redesigned so soon. It was just released in 2007. I know it shares the Touareg chasiss and a new Touareg will be shown at the Detroit Auto Show in January but I have not read any news about a redesign of the Q7.

Re: 2010 q7 tdi
From what I know it's every 5 years when they redesing according to my sales person at Audi so 2007 was first year which means in mid 2011 thew new 2012 model will be out that's in 1.5 year, it's not so soon but if you're planning to keep the car for 4-5 years that time will soon approach.
Also the Q3 will be out in 2011 which I read is bsed on the Tiguan chassis. Seems that the Q5 is the only SUV not based on a VW chassis.
