Yes I agree, certain provinces where demand might be higher and not as many dealerships may not offer too much discount. But when you buy a premium car you can't really expect too much discount. Also my salesperson told me Audi is purposely not flooding the market with the Q5 like BMW did with the 3-series.

+1....surprisingly last month when I called around, quite few dealers still have one or two in stock.

hmm - that's interesting, maybe some buyers backed out or they stocked up for winter. There is always exceptions.

Here is how I got my. A lady who ordered a white color with Prem, Nav, B&O, Sline package. The Q5 showed up in lava grey and she refused to accept it and I just happened to call the day that they put Q5 on the showroom up for sale. Went there next day morning and bought it.

WoW - NICE, what good luck. I love that lava gray color it's SICK. I got black on brown, I wish I got the lava gray but the wife loves black cars. You got really lucky. That's a pretty fully loaded car. It's really really too bad the Sline only comes in black interior. I fell in love with the brown interior but wanted the Sline as well. It took me a week to decide which to pick.

I just bought a 2010 Q5 Premium with nav pkg, tech pkg, 19" 5 spoke wheels and Bang & Olufson (MSRP $58,395 incl freight). Combined with the $1000 SPP I was able to negotiate a $3,395 discount. I was happy with that, especially considering that's a $3,836 savings when you factor in GST/PST.

Hey sbiggs, Welcome to Audi. I bought the EXACT same audi, black 2010, tech, 19", Navi, B&O, identical to yours with brown interior, I have tons of pics all over the forums but with my winter tires. Congrats on your new car I've had mine for about 6 months and it's AMAZING. You got a really good deal that's exactly how much I paid but I got it through the employee discount (through the participating employers).

Enjoy.

Thanks Warcity. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it so far. I went with black on black. Where did you go for winter tires? I won't be getting any this year but I will before next winter. I see you're in Toronto...I'm in Ajax so anything in the GTA would be good.

I was goign to go with black but the wife fell in love the brown, we're happy with the choice.

Go to my posts here:

https://www.audiforum.ca/q5-q7/50837...ires-q5-2.html

Look at my top 2 posts, first one has pics of my Q with the witners, second one has the name of where i got it from, their site and full information. I am quite happy with them.

If you have any questions let me know.

I also have posts on changing the fog lights of the Q and the interior lights to LED. I'll also have a post and video on changing the headlight bulbs to 6000K, hopefully soon.
