2.0T diminishing oil level between oil changes.. ?

Re: 2.0T diminishing oil level between oil changes.. ?
There's a 1 (or 2?) sentence blurb in the Audi 2011 manual that recommends leaving the engine on for 2 minutes after long or hard driving. I recall some other posts about leaving the engine on within this audiforum. The Audi manual doesn't specify 2.0T or 3.2, but I currently try leaving the engine on (for 1-2 minutes) for my 3.2 every time I park anywhere.

I'm surprised your salesperson didn't mention this at delivery time - mine certainly did, and made a point of how important it is if the dash displays the oil top-up indicator. There is ample information on this in the user manual - it is covered in more than one place.
As an aside, a friend had a Subaru WRX STi ProDrive that definitely needed a couple of minutes to cool down after spirited driving, or else it would cook the turbo. One time we had a fuel station attendant come out to see why we were sitting in the car by the pumps without getting out to fill up - he didn't like to see a running engine near the pumps any longer than necessary.
Remember this 2.0T engine is pumping out over 100 bhp/L, something that few mass production engines did a couple of years ago and that none did a decade ago.

Something like this should be mentioned in the manual book. It's like rotating your tire it's seem like something you just have to do except this is more critical to the longevity and performance of your engine.
I wonder if this applies only to the 2.0T engine.

I called Audi Canada and suggested I contact my Dealer to perform an 'Oil Consumption Test'
They would not give me any detailed information or explaination of why Audi engines consume motor oil. They kept insisting not to worry and it's completely normal within a certian degree.
I called my dealer and they informed me that they would only do an oil consumtion test if my engine consumed 1 liter within 3k of an oil change. (I did 6500km)
I called another Audi Dealer in the Montreal area and spoke to the Director of Service and he said the same thing. He also said that all Audi turbo engines are designed to consume motor oil , and even non-turbo's will consume some but less than the turbo's.
I'm going to read my owners manual tonight;
-GJS can you please let me know which page covers oil consumption?

I am glad there is mention of this in the manual book.
What surprises me is when they told you this can also potentially impact non turbo cars.
I had my Q5 clocked at almost 19K, 11K after my first oil change and the oil level was still max.

Abnormal oil consumption has only engine 2.0TFSI
Audi has a problem with the engine still not solved.
Type in the Google "2.0TFSI oil consumption" and you will see results

I googled "BMW oil consumption" even "Porsche oil consumption" and found many many hits on this topic. I read some posts on forums and seems these manufactures consider it normal within specifications.

Audi has a problem with the engine 2.0TFSI due to abnormal oil consumption and fuel consumption. This engine is only 5-8% less spent fuel as well as V6 3.2FSI.
Audi service in Europe in many disgruntled owners changed the engine.
Of course again the repeated consumption of oil
