Default upgrade

hi,
i want to upgrade my ecu in my 2004 a4 and need some advice how to go about it, and also i want to get a blow off valve cause i love that sound that it makes. can somebody pls advice. thanx...

About ECU upgrades, you just go to your preferred tuner, and they'd hook up their computer to your car, and voila. You can also do the injector files, where you swap for bigger injectors.

About blow-off valve, it's really not recommended: the ECU's calibration expects the by-pass air instead of having it dumped out to the atmosphere.

Well, APR, GIAC and Revo are some of the more common software people run. I know Independent Tuning sells GIAC, but you can just go to the software maker's sites to see how much each cost, and who the nearest dealer to you is
