recommendations please!
Hey guys, just bought an 2002 audi a4 1.8t.
I know this may sound ricey to some but, basically I want to hear my turbo, i want to hear it spool, i want to hear it when i shift, i like the sound of a turbo lol, so what would you guys recommend to achieve this, any help is appreciated.

YouTube - Carbonio CAI vs OEM Stock IntakeThe stock intake is really good for what it is if you want to make it even more audible your best bet would be an intake. Carbonio intake is good too here is a clip you can compare, the DV sounds a lot better and the turbo is more audible thats the only way you can improve the sound unless you put a bigger turbo in it wont really be all that much better. you also customize your intake a little to make it sound better and intake more air, but it involves drilling etc.

It depends on which exhaust you get. Some are louder but offer more performance, some are tuned down with a second resignator or smaller pipe diameter, still give off good sound and give gains. And some are just obnoxious.

The intake/dv will give you a feel, but for the spooling I'd say go with a test pipe to replace the extremingly restrictive catn that is right after your turbo
