Not that i can knotice at all. My friend put an intake on his 330ci and you can hear it sucking the air in, on mine you cant hear a think from the intake, even when it's open. Now this might be because i'm using a 4in intake and large filter. but in my expierience it hasnt changed the sound at all. Only sound difference was the DV's and with stock boost, you can hear them but they are just a little louder than stock. definately knoticeable. Hope this helps

How about adding some actaul insite into why a BOV valve is bad, I know about the meterd air etc. What about the Forge splitter valve? oh and you can blow and suck at the same time. Digeredoo players do it.

well i'm going to assume something, correct me if i'm wrong. U MUST BE NEW, and you must have just skipped to the end, because i believe we coved all that, except for the didgeridoo (knotice the spelling?) Which is actualy played with a technique called Circular breathing, all it is really, is pushing air out of your mouth with ur cheeks and tongue, WHILE you breath in with ur nose. Unless u've mastered control of each of ur lungs, and added a second airway, its impossible to suck and blow at the same time, UNLESS you create a venturi into whatever your blowing but that doesnt count.

whoever wrote about the cold air intake on his s4 being quiet... i think it is because from the intake to the turbos is a long distance....on my saab the cold air is right on the turbo and it screams...i am even really dissapointed with my evolution motorsports cold air...big waste of money

my question is this...my standard diaphram DV is functioning correctly...but im keen on increasing my audis performance, will a new DV from forge or whatever make a noticable difference? i have a cold air intake ( drilled holes in the air coller through the wheel arch)- seems to give more torque and reset the throttle body-that gives a slight smothnes to my drive. ...ut these DV's have me curious...

No the DV will not give you performance unless it is leaking. BUt if you have a stock working DV and changed it to a Forge DV you will not notice anything. All the DV does is hold your bost. If you have a K04-15 or BT then you will need something like a forge where you can change springs depending on the boost level you are trying to hold. The forge is jut stronger then stock. I am running a 710N with apr 1+ and no problems.

Its not a performance gain but it maintaines any performance you have gained with bigger boost.

So i have a KO3, and if i change to a forge 710N , i can change a spring which will hold more boost thereby giving me more usable power? sorry if its a stupid question...is it a good way of maximising the turbos power.

thanks
