A4 3.0 aftermarket exhaust
Hello all, I am a new found owner of a 2003 Audi A4 3.0 quattro.
I am also new to the forum, so please tell me if I am posting incorrectly.
I love my new car, but... it doesn't have the right sound.
I am looking for some suggestions and opinions from the experienced.
I want a deep growl sound, not a tuner "ricey" sound.
I have been suggested:
Milltek
Eurojet
Borla
and Magnaflow 14814
Please help!
Thanks.

Re: A4 3.0 aftermarket exhaust
Hey congrats on the B6 V6!! I have an 02 a4 myself, I'd start by removing the mufflers but leave your resonators in. I did this to mine and I love the sound as it stands with no mufflers. If you want something deeper and throaty, a buddy of mine put magnaflow mufflers on his b6 v6 and it's a bit throaty, but I wasn't too crazy about it myself. Hope this helps! Cheapest way for great sound is just grab a saw and cut your mufflers off to start and see what you think, you can always put aftermarket ones on after! (Remember don't take the H-style resonator out... That will change the sound and make it crackle and sound like a riceball!

Re: A4 3.0 aftermarket exhaust
I took out the whole damn setup. Put on 2.75 stainless from the flex pipes back.
No resonator, only Magna-flows at the back.. sounded throaty, but like you said, Ricey.
So I ran an "X" pipe half way up, and just ordered some Milltek mufflers.
When spring weather comes, and I'm more motivated, I will put them on.
Thanks
