Default No Power to MMI in 2008 Audi s5

I own an 2008 audi s5. A week ago the blower motor failed. I had the blower motor replaced which solved the lack of air problem. Now the entire Audi Multimedia system will not work. The screen does not power on at all and none of the control buttons on the center console light up and do not function.

The whole system worked perfect prior to the battery being boosted. The interface had been fully powered off via button next to center console stick.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike

likely needs to be reinitialized based on your comments that the battery was boosted (ie., electronics lost power)

The video card on my 2010's media system died though (screen flicker) so they replaced the entire thing for me under warranty.

Much Like Gibby's post, my MMI/Sound and Visual would work intermittently when my A6 was cold (ever since I have owned the car in 2009). Once it warmed up it would work fine. Two days ago it was cutting in and out, and now the complete system went blank when I was driving. There is no power to the MII or the buttons on the console. I tried the reset by pushing the middle large button and the settings button at the same time but the screen is blank. Is there a resistor or fuse somewhere in the system that I can check? It appears to be a total loss of power which happened while I was driving in normal conditions.
