allroad, 01. Tiptronic- can't set to manual mode
Hi,
Just purchased the car a few weeks ago. The transmission in automatic modes (D, 3,4) works exellent and gears change smoothly. But when I try to set to manual mode- nothing happens. The display always shows D mode and it feels D. It just does not react on changing the mode. I tried it while driving or parking based on Owner's Manual. Please advice.

im not an expert.
but it sounds like the sensor where the Shifter is not working properly.. id check that thing out 1st.
might be just a stupid wire unpluged
