Yeah over the weekend I went and bought a repair manual for the car
You are soo right on the value of the cars I grabbed mine for $500.00cdn
And it's in really minty shape in fact when I went to go pick up the car the
previous owner had it parked out front in his driveway and I was thinking for sure that he was going to open the garage door and the car he was talking about was going to be sitting inside all beat up but when he walked over to the car my mouth dropped as I could not beleave that he only wanted $500.00 for it but looking on the internet I think I still got a good deal but your right their not worth much. As far as modding it I was only looking into the idea of doing it as like all guys more power = big smiles (But was really unsure if it would of been worth my while when it was an auto not a manual). But I am really glad that you made mention that the auto tranny is not strong enough to run the car at high boost b/c for the cost of the upgraded spring / waste gate / ECU was looking like it was worth the couple hundred bucks. I was really thinking of doing it. I think my best option with the car it to just fix what is needed and move on to somthing else with a bit more potential.
My friends uncle owns a couple Audi's (91 200 QT / A4 / 88 5000QT /and his pride and joy 83' quattro UR ) and I have been talkling to him about the car quite a bit he told me that if I was interested to talk to him b/c he has a 90 200QT 20V (wagon) 5speed he is willing to trade for it but the 90 has alot more milage (260k) and not even close to the same condition. I keep telling him to trade for his (83' quattro UR) with no luck. I will keep in contact as I may be calling for some parts for the 87 if needed. Thank you yet again for you help

Hey sounds like you're in good hands with your friend's uncle there...heck he's got one of the rarest Audi's around with that 200 20vt avant. Glad you got a good deal now just drive the sucker and keep working that uncle for the UR!

Whats up ! New to the Fourm as of now... I got a 86 5000 Turbo Quattro. 2.0+T bar Chip, 2.2 bar wastegate Spring, Spec Stage 2 Clutch and deleted A/C .. for now
Looking to get alot more out of it, i mean it's got 306,000km.. but i'm trying to get my hands on a spare MC to rebuild. Also hoping to Lower it and Get a Cam in the near future. ALso getting new wheels for it this week
