A New Member Hello
Hi all. Want to share my story of joining Audi family. So my wife and i our taking a day off and she has been eying Q5to replace her Lexus RX. So off for a test drive and shortly therafter she places her order. of course it does not arrive until mid Jan. Mind you i have been looking to replace my 335 with something smaller and sportier. i was thinking of the 135 vert but after the test drive in the audi i decided to broaden my horizon and test drove the S4 and a TTS. well the salesman mentioned the TT RS as the only TT with manual - my preference. well would you know it the following week looked at a TTRS in montreal at Lauzon Audi and i am hooked. Picking it up this week only to put her in bed for the winter... anyways long story short our family just moved from BMW and Lexus to 2 Audis.

Re: A New Member Hello
wow! congrats on the 2 new Audis. don't hear that everyday!
love to hear some more feedback and pics when you get the TTRS. i have seen only a few of them around here but never got to ask how people liked it. as well would be interested in hearing feedback pro vs cons from the 335 to the ttrs.
congrats again!

Clayton et al...
Thaks for the hello and invitation to comment on my two cars.
Well the TT RS is now at home. After a short week of enjoying the ride, i can offer the following observations between my new ride and the 335. First off, the 335 is a fantastic car, loads of power, and handles like a dream. But the TT RS is a completely different animal. The 335 is a sedan whereas the TT is a sports car - small compact and feels it when driving - the 335 is much "bigger" by comparison. It drives "larger". the 335 is certainly more roomier - lots of room n the back seats and trunk space. Fortunately, with one small child (my two oldest have moved out and on with thier lives) and only a need to have her in the back for short trips when necessary - beside she says she loves it (who can argue with her taste).
The power differential between the two is noticeable - the TT has 65 more HP and is significantly lighter than the 335, plus the power to all 4 wheels is blantant in the acceleration. Cornering is much tighter in the TT - the larger wheels and smaller lighter car is noticeable. So far, i am so please with the car, it was exactly what i was looking for small powerful sports car that is unique. I consider myself lucky to have one. Driving it just puts a smile on my face.
On the down side, winter has arrived here in Ottawa and it is going to sit out for the winter - i have a winter beater for the snow, salt, and other "damaging" road grime that it throws at us. Sadly, i will have to be patient to enjoy it more.
