Hello all -

I've always loved the Audi's I see, some more than others of course. But the opportunity to finally buy one for myself has come knocking, and I am trying to decide which model, year, trim, etc. is best for me. At the moment, I'm torn between the 2009/10 A3 and A4. I would love to have an S4, but that may be out of my price range, unfortunately.

Having a hard time making sense of the models and what is offered for each one over the last three years. Particularly engine size and transmission type (automatic, vs manual vs tiptronic) I'm really looking for one that has the fantastic LED daytime running lights - love those!

Unless you need hatchback room, a4 all the way! Just my opinion.

I have both A3 and A4
The A4 is a lot bigger and more luxurious.
The A3 is like driving a Go-Cart
I love both..My wife drives the A3

Yeah, having both would be ideal. Took a look at an A4 yesterday, and saw both A3's and A4's at a dealership as well. Leaning towards the A4 now...

The A3 is getting a face lift soon, the A4 won't fro another couple of years. The A3 has the old Audi interior, if you want the latest style and material you're better off with the A4. Only thing attractive about the A3 is the TDI engine.
