Default New to the Audi Scene

Hello All;

New member here from Calgary, looking to get into my first Audi (most likely a 2012 S4) that has all the bells and whistles on it. ADS, titanium package, extended warranty, 7 speed. I don't think a single option was left out.

This is going to be quite the upgrade for me as i have been driving by Subaru Impreza 2.5RS for the past 8+ years. But definitely looking forward to getting into a newer car with much more refinement and power!

Will post some pictures once i pull the trigger

Congrats. Not easy finding a nice, used, reasonably priced S4 in this city. I hope you pull that trigger soon.

There was a lot of nice ones in the summer and fall, which all sold very quickly.

The one i am looking at is in Vancouver, priced a little high for a 2012 but is in immaculate condition with the perfect white and red/black combo.

I looked briefly, but came to the conclusion it was probably easier just to buy brand new. I was only seeing a slight savings with the used ones that were available at the time. In the end, I decided to go a different direction with the SQ5, but I do have a lot of love for the S4's.

Will you have to get an out-of-province inspection performed on it if you bring it in from BC?

Yes, its a simple $140 bucks or less for an inspection which takes little to know time. The car has 20K kms on it, and a maintenance package till late 2015 (Extended warranty to 2017 as well). Its a little hick-up but still well worth it for how perfect this car is

Hello All,

Finally got to own my dream car. It's a used 2010 A4 2.OT Quattro. Love everything about it so far.

I joined to learn more about this car. The maintenance schedule, which ones I can do myself and which to let the experts do. Or even how some things work. As this is my first Audi, I remember sitting for the test drive and I didn't know how to start the car.

I'll post pictures later (when this damn winter is over and I can keep the car consistently clean for a picture).

Here's hoping to learn from you guys.
